They were pasing through the Tornados from the German Airforce and stoped over a night. The weather was not good fog and drizzle, with a grey sky.

Enn ein björgunarferðin og veiðimanni sem hrapaði í klettum við Stóru Laxá var komið á slysamóttökuna. Það er alltaf mikið í húfi þegar dýr verkfæri eru notuð við erfiðar aðstæður í þeim tilgangi að bjarga mannslífum, við erum heppin að hafa jafn vel þjálfaða björgunarsveit á þyrlunum. kv Jón

They were coming from a training exercise in Las Vegas on their way back home. this beutyful aircraft SAAB JAS 39 Grippen is one of the most suffisticated plane in the world. The pilots enjoyed the stop over and hopefully they wil come later for seeing more of Iceland. regards Jón
